It is a Burmese (sp?) python...like 5 years old or something. I overcame my fear pretty quickly because it was quite a magnificent creature. It was so slow, too. It was hot :-) Although, I had no desire to touch it or hold it. Too gross...

A Snake & A Soldier
So there I was minding my own business at Petsmart...turn the corner and there he was:
